BORN AT THE SIP & SEE
The Mini Lavender Pillows were never part of a grand plan. They were born this summer at Hometown Marketplace in Newnan, at my Sip & See.
In my workroom, every pillow cover leaves behind small pieces of fabric, velvet, metallic weaves, satins, beautiful patterned pieces too small for a cover and far too beautiful to throw away.
So I did what makers do. I made something with them.
I sewed about thirty little pillows, filled them with real lavender, added a hanging loop, and stamped each one with the AliJ Designs name. They were thank-you gifts for my guests.
And my guests kept asking the same question: where can I get more?
That is how a thank-you gift became part of the line.
Nothing here is staged. This is my worktable, where every Mini begins.
